Build the technology that makes customs work feel effortless. As a Senior Software Developer at Digicust, you will turn complex trade-compliance workflows into reliable, intuitive software used in real operational environments. You will own meaningful parts of our platform, make pragmatic architecture decisions, and work closely with product, AI, and customs experts from idea to production.

Build the technology that makes customs work feel effortless. As a Senior Software Developer at Digicust, you will turn complex trade-compliance workflows into reliable, intuitive software used in real operational environments. You will own meaningful parts of our platform, make pragmatic architecture decisions, and work closely with product, AI, and customs experts from idea to production.
Keskeiset vastuualueet:
- Design, build, test, and operate scalable product features across our platform
- Translate complex customs and customer requirements into clean technical solutions
- Improve system reliability, security, observability, and development workflows
- Review code, share engineering standards, and mentor less experienced developers
- Collaborate with Product, AI, and Solution Engineering on technical discovery and delivery
- Take end-to-end ownership from architecture and implementation to production support
Vaatimukset:
- Several years of professional software development experience in production environments
- Strong skills in modern TypeScript, JavaScript, backend development, APIs, and data modelling
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, automated testing, CI/CD, and secure software delivery
- A product mindset and the ability to balance quality, speed, and customer value
- Clear communication and professional fluency in German and English
- Residency and work authorization in Austria
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AI-enabled products, document processing, or workflow automation
- Knowledge of customs, logistics, ERP, CRM, or international trade processes
- Experience in a growing B2B SaaS company

Salary
For employment in Austria, the current minimum gross monthly salary for this position under the Austrian IT Collective Agreement 2026, occupational group ST1 (entry level), is EUR 3,267, paid 14 times per year on a full-time basis. The collective-agreement minimum applicable on the actual start date will apply. We are willing to offer a market-aligned overpayment depending on qualifications, relevant experience, and the final scope of responsibilities.
