Purpose and scope
The Digicust publication explains customs operations, trade compliance, automation, and applied AI. It also publishes clearly labelled company news and press releases. Articles provide general information and do not replace legal, customs, tax, or other professional advice.
Sources and verification
For regulatory claims, authors should prefer current primary sources such as customs authorities, official legislation, sanctions authorities, and standards bodies. Sources should be linked close to the claim they support. Product statements are checked against the relevant Digicust product owner or documentation.
Authorship and accountability
Articles identify their credited author or the Digicust Editorial Team. Named authors receive a profile page describing their role and published contributions. Corporate announcements may use an organizational byline when the company, rather than one person, is responsible for the statement.
News, analysis, and commercial content
Timely regulatory reporting, expert analysis, evergreen guidance, press releases, and company announcements are classified separately. Promotional or partner-related material should be disclosed, and editorial guidance should not present Digicust product claims as independent regulatory conclusions.
Updates and corrections
Material corrections should be made promptly. When an article changes substantively, its updated date should differ from its original publication date. Minor spelling or formatting fixes do not require a new update date. Readers can request a correction by contacting info@digicust.com with the article URL and supporting source.
