Alexander Miklautz joins as Head of Global Partnerships & Events on 1 November 2026 to expand strategic alliances and international market initiatives.
Vienna, 1 November 2026. Digicust is strengthening its international partner business with the appointment of Alexander Miklautz as Head of Global Partnerships & Events. Previously Head of Marketing at PwC Austria, he will be responsible for developing the partner network and joint market-entry and sales initiatives. With this step, the Austrian AI company is establishing strategic partnerships as a dedicated growth channel alongside direct enterprise sales.
The focus is on collaboration with customs software providers, consulting and implementation partners, technology companies and industry organisations. Together with these partners, Digicust aims to integrate its platform more deeply into existing IT environments and enter new markets.
“The international logistics industry needs intelligent solutions for increasingly complex customs processes. Strong partnerships are essential to making these solutions available in each market. Our partners know the local markets, the existing systems and their customers’ requirements. Together, we can put our technology into practice faster. In Alexander, we gain an experienced expert who combines strategic marketing, business development and network building, and who will drive this area forward,” says Matthias Pfeiler, CEO of Digicust.
Miklautz brings extensive experience in B2B marketing, sales and business development. Before serving as Head of Marketing at PwC Austria, he held positions at Wolf Theiss, business magazine Forbes, XING and Mediaplanet, among others. At Digicust, he will develop existing partnerships, build new collaborations and advance joint marketing, event and sales activities.
Partnerships as a foundation for international market development
Digicust’s AI platform adds an upstream automation layer to existing customs and enterprise software. It processes documents and emails, structures customs data, supports goods classification and prepares compliance checks. The results are then passed to the companies’ existing systems.
This approach creates a range of opportunities for collaboration: customs software providers can enhance their solutions with AI capabilities, while consulting and implementation partners can incorporate the platform into client projects. Sales and country partners contribute local expertise and customer relationships to establish Digicust in additional markets.
To support this, Miklautz will further develop a structured partner programme with clearly defined collaboration models, joint go-to-market plans, and training and marketing resources for partners. Specialist events and industry forums will strengthen personal exchange and create opportunities for new collaborations.
“Customs processes connect markets worldwide, but putting them into practice requires a deep understanding of local procedures and requirements. This is precisely where the strength of a good partner network lies. I look forward to working with the team and our partners to build lasting collaborations and help shape Digicust’s international development,” says Alexander Miklautz, Head of Global Partnerships & Events at Digicust.
By expanding its partner business, Digicust is laying the groundwork for broader integration of its technology into customs, ERP, transport management and trade compliance systems. Collaboration ranges from joint sales activities and the delivery of customer projects to the development of integrated solutions.
